How to Write Better
Statements of Work and Bid Evaluations
This course will provide managers with the knowledge,
skills and practical tools needed to develop more effective and
compliant Statements of Work (SOW's) and Evaluation Criteria within
their RFP's. In addition to covering a wide range of principles
and best practices, participants will have an opportunity to work
with the presenter to critique a sample SOW and Evaluation Criteria
document. In addition, participants will also receive a package
of easy-to-follow templates and writing tools to take back to their
office.

Overview of Procurement for Materiel and

Real Property: An Overview for Procurement
and Materiel Managers
Recognized by

This workshop, is designed to assist managers in
better understanding the scope and challenges of the federal government’s
real property sector. “Real Property Fundamentals” is
designed to provide an overview of frameworks, strategies, values,
tools and processes that govern real property decision-making within
the federal government. There is a need to consider the size and
scope of the federal government’s real property, to understand
the policy expectations of central agencies with respect to real
property management, to identify the objectives and goals of real
property management, and to assess the issues and challenges being
faced in the real property community. This session may assist participants
in applying new insights and ideas from the real property sector
to their materiel management roles and responsibilities.

CITT Legal Risks
This course will provide participants with an understanding of
the legal risks inherent in the procurement process. Practical ideas
will be discussed to help understand those risks and to keep them
in perspective. The session will cover some of the more troublesome
areas of procurement law and provide insight into the current climate
of increased supplier militancy.
