On behalf of the Organizing Committee,
we would like to welcome you to the 22nd Canadian Institute
for Procurement and Materiel Management (CIPMM) National
Workshop.
This year will mark our return to the
National Capital Region at the newly renovated Ottawa
Convention
Centre
(OCC) and will be one of the first events to be held
at this grandiose facility from May 16 – 19th,
2011.
The theme for this year's National Workshop
is:
"
Planning for Results: Achieving Strategic Outcomes through
Procurement and Materiel Management"
To achieve desired
strategic outcomes, proper planning is essential through
life-cycle materiel management and
early in the procurement process. Attend CIPMM's National
Workshop to share experiences and learn with us, ways
to achieve these objectives.
The Organizing Committee
surveyed the procurement and materiel management community
to develop a program with
relevant topics covering the following subject streams:
Materiel Management; Procurement - The Basics; Complex
Procurement; and, Procurement and Materiel Management
Evolution.
CIPMM's Annual National Workshop is
a significant training and professional development event
for those
with public
sector responsibilities for procurement and materiel
management. It is also a fantastic opportunity to network
with peers and interact directly with industry leaders.
