Contract Management

This course has been designed for the procurement and materiel management specialists who are involved in managing a contract. This course will provide you with practical tools and best practices you need to manage activities throughout the four phases of the procurement process. It will also help you minimize the risks associated with the procurement process by adhering to rules and regulations.

Commodity Management

This one-day session introduces participants to Commodity Management in the federal government: the goals, benefits, governance and processes of the function as well as the potential strategies, which may be considered for various goods and services. It summarizes the federal government’s commodity management approach and explores the major events underlying its evolution since Budget 2005.

This course is recognized by the Professional Development and Certification Program for the Procurement, Materiel Management and Real Property Community.
