This
one-day workshop introduces participants to basic risk management
concepts, tools and best practices. It summarizes the federal
government’s integrated risk management approach, and
explores the major reasons underlying the approach’s
evolution in the last two decades. This workshop also sketches
the risk management processes in selected departments, and
the need to tailor approaches to program or business line
risk situations.
