Speakers:

Gayle McDonald
Gayle joined the Federal Government with the former Department of Supply and Services. Her career has spanned areas such as compensation & benefits, acquisitions, training & development and Client Engagement. She also spent a number of years dealing directly with the supplier community, providing information and guidance on selling goods, services and construction to the Federal Government. Her most recent post is on assignment working on the modernization of the PWGSC Extranet, Pacific Services Exchange (PSX), leading up to her retirement March, 2011.

Ian Turner
Ian's career started in the navy from 1977 to 2002, where he performed numerous activities from contracting for Fleet Maintenance Facility Cape Breton to teaching at the Naval Fleet School. In 1988 Ian obtained a degree in Naval Architecture from Memorial University and retired from the navy in 2002. At that time he joined the Public Service as a Marine Technical Inspector for PWGSC. He recently took on the position of Client Engagement Advisory in the newly created Business Advisory Services Unit in Public Works and Government Services Canada in Victoria.
